Gestures

The ipad has many hand gestures to make navigation easier and faster here are a list of the motions and functions:

Five-finger pinch: Take your hand with all fingers on the screen and 'pinch' - this will close the current app and take you to the home screen

Four-finger swipe up: The four finger swipe allows you to see the multitasking bar, showing you the most recently used apps. This gesture replaces the double-tap of the Home button.

Four-finger swipe left / right:  If you swipe four fingers left or right the iPad moves you through running apps.

Split Keyboard: If you place your thumbs on the full keyboard and swipe them both to the outside it will create a split keyboard so it is easier to type with your thumbs.
