No presenters. No agendas. Just playing.

What is Playdate Ottawa?

This is a new kind of PD - No presenters. No agendas. Just playing. Think about the last time you attended PD, a conference or another professional learning event. Often, we leave full of knowledge and a list of new things to try out. As technology becomes more of an interest and priority in education, we get lists full of new apps, programs and skills to try out. However, once we return to the "real world" of our classrooms, many of us lack the time and support to actually try out all these new tools. Playdate Ottawa is a space for us to come together and collaboratively explore the tools we've always wanted to learn more about. The concept is to invite educators from around the area to join together for one day, sit in rooms together for a few hours and just play! We will collaborate about EdTech apps, programs, tools and strategies with one another. There are no presenters in the room, no experts and no agenda. Join us for time to play, tinker, explore and learn together.
